Check out these diablo edge metaphors:
Henry W. Coe State Park – Up Spike Jones and Down Grizzly Gulch Hike – March 2, 2008

Here’s my favorite part of Grizzly gulch trail. The vast clearing near serpentine outcroppings at the edge of a plateau where here’s a lively, gurgling tiny ranch water reservoir home to frogs and ducks, right before the trail divebombs downhill. This is Rodeo pond. It’s just out of view.. at this top I haven’t "learned" it yet.

Wild Fire…

Another shot of the wild fire that burned in the hills close to Walnut Creek a week ago. If you look carefully you can see the orange glow of the edge of the flames as it spread towards the right (north) of the hilly peak on the right of the shot. To the left of the scene is one of the helicopters used to help fight the blaze.
I typically upload in tiny sets – don’t just look at the latest one in my photostream as you force be missing something you’ll like more, and your comments are ALWAYS welcome
